GeoServer I: Administration (condensed)
(2 days)

An abbreviated, two day version of our GeoServer I: Administration course. Assumes knowledge of spatial basics and OGC web services, and does not cover caching. Boundless Certification exam is not included.

Introduction to GeoServer
(half day)

Learn how to load, publish, style, and share geospatial data with GeoServer. Discussion will include navigating the GeoServer user interface, loading and publishing data, OGC web services, styling layers, and publishing to clients.

Beyond GeoServer Basics
(half day)

This course will discuss GeoServer beyond simply loading and publishing data. From catalog operations to data filters, you will be exposed to many different aspects of GeoServer configuration.

GeoServer Performance Tuning
(half day)

Learn how to set up GeoServer for production environments. Focus is on configuration and optimization.

Introduction to PostGIS
(half day, full day, and 2 day options)

Learn how to load and manage data with PostGIS, the spatial extension to the PostgreSQL database. Focus is on SQL commands and the pgAdmin graphical user interface for managing PostgreSQL databases.

Introduction to OpenLayers 3
(half day)

Learn show how to create an embedded map, add layers, use controls, add markers using the OpenLayers JavaScript map framework.

Introduction to QGIS

This course will introduce the QGIS desktop GIS system. Topics included are the interface, loading and configuring layers, creating and editing a project, basic styling, attribute editing, and geometry editing.
